Demona Rules

These rules apply whenever you use Demona. They exist to keep the world fair, secure and enjoyable. By creating an account, logging in or using an official Demona service, you agree to follow them.

1. Scope and responsibility

1. These rules apply to the game, website, official Discord server and every other official Demona service.
2. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for protecting its login details, password and recovery key.
3. Staff may act against behaviour that clearly harms Demona, its security, economy or players, even where that behaviour is not described word for word below.
4. Rules govern official Demona services. They do not settle private disputes that take place outside them.

2. Accounts, transfers and security

1. Accounts may be transferred or sold privately. Demona and its staff do not participate in, guarantee or take responsibility for such transactions.
2. Offers, prices, advertisements and solicitation for transactions involving real money are forbidden in every official Demona service. This includes accounts, characters, gold, items and services.
3. Do not attempt to access another person's account or data. Phishing, credential theft, malicious links or files, brute-force attempts and attacks against Demona services are forbidden.
4. Staff will never ask for your password or recovery key. Account losses caused by voluntarily sharing account access are not guaranteed to be restored.

3. Names

1. Character names, guild names, ranks, titles and similar submitted names must not be offensive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, threatening, unlawful or disclose personal information.
2. Names must not impersonate staff, the server, automated systems or official Demona services.
3. Names must not advertise other servers, unrelated services, real-money trading or rule violations.
4. Names must be reasonably readable and suitable for a fantasy character. Random strings, misleading formatting and sentence-like names may be rejected.
5. An unsuitable name may result in a forced name change and a character lock until it is resolved.

4. Communication and official channels

1. Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content, publication of personal information and deliberately harmful false claims are forbidden.
2. Spam, flooding, repeated messages, disruptive formatting and attempts to bypass chat filters are forbidden.
3. Advertising other game servers, competing projects or real-money trading is forbidden.
4. Official channels may be used in any language unless the channel is explicitly marked for Polish or English. A channel marked for one of those languages must be used in that language.
5. Use channels according to their stated purpose. Reports, trade, support and community discussion should not be used to disrupt one another.

5. Fair play, client use and multi-clienting

1. Only the official Demona client may be used to connect to the game.
2. Every in-game action must be performed manually by the player. Bots, macros, auto-clickers, scripted hardware input and any other automation are forbidden.
3. Software or modifications that provide an unfair advantage are forbidden, including automated healing, targeting, looting, movement, spell casting or alerts that act for the player.
4. Normal key bindings are allowed when one key press produces one manual game action.
5. One player may have only one character online at a time. This rule applies to the person, regardless of accounts, IP addresses, devices or clients. Closing a client does not permit another login while the first character remains online.
6. Confirmed botting, automation or multi-clienting results in a permanent ban. Staff may also permanently ban accounts linked to the offender through account access or login activity.

6. Bugs, exploits and abuse

1. Report bugs and errors in the game, client, website or any official service through support as soon as reasonably possible.
2. Using a bug, unintended mechanic or technical weakness to gain an advantage is forbidden. Do not publish instructions for exploiting an unresolved issue.
3. Staff may remove or reverse any benefit gained through an exploit. Serious or deliberate abuse may also result in a temporary ban, permanent ban or character deletion.

7. Player interaction and PvP

1. Ordinary player-versus-player combat, guild rivalry, competition for spawns and voluntary transactions are part of the game. Players accept the normal risks of these interactions.
2. Demona and its staff do not mediate ordinary private trades, loans, exchanges, agreements or non-technical scams between players.
3. Blocking another player is allowed only where there is a practical way to overcome it, such as defeating the blocking character or reaching the destination by another route. A block with no technical possibility of being overcome is forbidden.

8. Guilds and server systems

1. Guild names, ranks and descriptions must follow the rules on names and communication.
2. Do not use guild, house or any other server system to exploit a bug or bypass a technical restriction.
3. Technical requirements and mechanics for guilds, guildhalls, houses, auctions and similar systems are published in Server Information. They may change as those systems develop.

9. Staff, reports and appeals

1. Impersonating staff, claiming influence over staff decisions, threatening staff or deliberately submitting false reports or fabricated evidence is forbidden.
2. Good-faith reports are welcome. A report does not become a violation merely because staff cannot confirm it.
3. You may appeal a punishment through the official support channel. The final staff decision is binding.
4. Staff may keep evidence and detection methods confidential. There is no obligation to publish proof or explain how a violation was detected.

10. Enforcement

1. Depending on severity, intent, harm and prior history, staff may issue a warning, mute, forced name change, character lock, temporary ban, final warning, permanent ban, benefit removal, rollback or character deletion.
2. Serious security violations, botting, automation, account theft, deliberate exploits and multi-clienting may result in an immediate permanent ban.
3. Penalties may apply to the account involved and, where appropriate, other accounts linked to the same offender.

11. Changes to these rules

1. These rules may be updated when Demona or its services change. The date above identifies the currently published version.
2. Important changes will be announced through the website or official Discord server.
3. The English version is the binding version. Any translation is provided for convenience only.
